Who we are
The Education Rural Outreach Project (EROP) is a non-governmental Charity Organisation set up to eradicate hunger, poverty and deprivation by empowering people through education to lead lives of self-reliance, meet their own basic needs and build better futures for their generation and Community in the world. We believe the World’s richest resources come from the talents and abilities of our children and therefore needs to be harnessed through our support in education. We want to ensure that by 2020 all children in rural areas, particularly disadvantaged children in difficult circumstances have access to and complete, free and compulsory primary education of a good quality. EROP would create awareness, value and benefits of education to these disadvantaged families and children in the remote communities of Ghana and Worldwide so such children would be motivated to attend school and learn so they can also become future leaders in the global society, nations and local communities. We offer support such as free educational books, computers, stationery, bursaries, mentorship, partnership links, food, health and nutrition.
